Rachel Hebisen offers a thoughtful, direct, and compassionate approach to therapy, helping clients understand themselves with greater clarity and self-kindness. She brings nearly a decade of face-to-face clinical experience working with individuals, along with experience facilitating psycho-educational groups. Her background includes work across outpatient, residential, and hospital settings, as well as training in cross-cultural sensitivity and communication.
Rachel is a certified EMDR therapist with a particular focus on trauma and attachment-related concerns. She understands trauma as something that can profoundly affect a person’s sense of self, relationships, and safety in the world. Her work emphasizes careful exploration of both past and present experiences within a stable, collaborative, and emotionally safe therapeutic relationship. Rachel also has experience providing clinical guidance and case consultation to fellow counselors. She works with individual adult clients.
