Michael Coggin

Michael has worked in the mental health field since 1995 where he worked with children and families at Brewer Porch Children’s Center in Tuscaloosa, Al. Michael earned his Master of Counseling in 2000 from Covenant Theological Seminary, and his Master of Divinity in 2002. He and his wife had the privilege of helping start a church based counseling center in St. Louis, MO called New Hope Counseling Services in 2000, where he served as director from 2005-2015. As a pastor and counselor, Michael's primary areas of expertise including marriage counseling, family of origin issues, anxiety, depression, individuals processing narcissistic abuse, emotional, sexual and physical abuse, and sexual addiction. Providing a safe place for ministry leaders in counseling has been an area of Michael's practice that has been a real privilege as well over the past 20 years. He and his wife Sherry, have four children.
