My journey to becoming a counselor began with receiving counseling myself. The experience was so transformative that I made a vocational shift in my mid-30s. Because I understand how vulnerable it can feel to enter the counseling space, I am committed to creating a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment for every client.
I bring nearly 25 years of combined experience in education, social work, counseling, parenting, and ministry as a pastor’s wife. These roles have given me a unique passion for supporting individuals in ministry and leadership—areas where finding safe and confidential support can often feel challenging. I also have a heart for walking alongside those experiencing burnout, relational challenges (including marriage, family, and parenting dynamics), life transitions, grief, faith-related questions, anxiety, or depression. I work with both individuals and couples.
I live in San Diego, California, with my husband of 28 years and our miniature Goldendoodle, Sammi. We are grateful to have our three beautiful adult daughters living nearby.
