Kim Marshall

Licensed professional counselor, MA of Counseling


Kim draws on 18+ years of combined experience in education, social work, counseling (private practice and clinical settings), parenting, and ministry as a pastor’s wife.  Out of these experiences, she has a passion for serving those in ministry or leadership professions, whether they are facing burn out, isolation, conflict, or struggling to understand themselves within their role.  Other areas of interest include conflict resolution and peacemaking (within organizations, families or marriages), life transitions, family and relational issues, trauma and depression.  Kim just celebrated twenty years of marriage to her husband and high school sweetheart and they have 3 teenage daughters. 

Personal and Professional Experience

  • Born and raised in Colorado, Kim has lived in Wisconsin, Missouri and California

  • BA of Music Education - Point Loma Nazarene University, San Diego, CA 

  • MA of Counseling - Covenant Theological Seminary, St Louis, MO 

  • Licensed Professional Counselor 

  • Counseling experience in both private and clinical settings

  • Facilitates group work and speaks on emotional and spiritual health for spouses of pastors

  • Co-directs counseling program at the JFK Clinic of Mercy Hospital in St Louis, overseeing and supervising counseling interns and practicum students

  • Experience working with individuals of all ages, couples, families and organizations
