Julie Borja works to build relationships with clients based on empathy and trust with clients of all ages. She offers a strengths-based approach combined with compassionately challenging clients to grow and move toward their goals. Julie lived as a missionary in Eastern Europe for three years, understanding first hand the challenges of cross-cultural adjustment and re-entry into one’s home culture. She is skilled in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and EMDR. She specializes in depression, anxiety, life transitions, spiritual issues, foster care/adoption issues, cross-cultural adjustment, and grief & loss.
