Cary Smith

As a therapist and ministry coach, Cary Smith strives to be gentle, kind, and encouraging. He believes God offers comfort to the weary, healing to the wounded, and forgiveness to the wandering. Cary has worked with people facing diverse emotional, relational, spiritual, and psychological challenges. Specific issues have included recovery from adverse childhood experiences, attachment struggles and developmental and event-based trauma, troublesome interpersonal and emotional dynamics, spiritual and ministry challenges, geographical/cultural transitions, and various forms of depression and anxiety. Cary specializes in trauma-informed care and working with people serving in Christian ministry. Cary and his wife, Annalisa, have a young daughter who has captured their hearts. They enjoy getting outdoors, hospitality, and cooking together.
