Samantha Johnson

LPC, MA of Counseling

Samantha strives to provide individuals, teenagers, and families a safe space to process, heal, and further develop practical skills that can aid in building a high quality life.

As a trauma and DBT informed therapist, she specializes in areas such as sexual abuse and trauma, anxiety, depression, stress management, caregiver burnout/compassion fatigue, anger management, and other mood disorders.

Prior to her pursuit of counseling in 2015, Samantha worked with anti-sex trafficking organizations in three different countries within Southeast Asia. From her work, she gained insight and knowledge alongside understanding and compassion for those struggling with sexual trauma. As a former missionary, she also understands first hand cross-cultural challenges as well as the need to develop boundaries and a resiliency plan within a ministry/nonprofit context.

She has worked alongside teenagers in various capacities for over 13 years and has a heart to provide that place for them to unwind, develop skills, and be empowered to step into who they were created to be.

Samantha grew up in St. Louis and currently resides in the St. Peters area with her husband and son.
