Melanie Harsch

LCSW, RSW
Sees clients who are based in North Carolina, USA and Internationally

Melanie Harsch enjoys working with children, youth, women, and adoptive parents. Her experiences as a clinical therapist in the US, China, and Canada, a co-leader of an adoption support group, and, of course, as a parent, have given her a strong desire to support those struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, families created through adoption, and addressing the needs of highly gifted children. She predominately uses CBT and Solution Based Therapy, both which are goal based and provide tools to help individuals manage their struggles.

Melanie grew up in a transracial adoptive family and is married to a mental health therapist. She and her husband have two college aged daughters, two lazy cats, and an Aussie Labradoodle therapy dog.
