Jim Payne

M.Div., Pastoral Counselor

Jim Payne believes that the courage to face hard things and grow through them comes in honest relationships of love and trust.  Having been deeply helped by such relationships on his own journey, Jim loves to walk with men on their journeys through the difficult terrain of things like depression, anxiety, addiction, relational distress, loneliness, intimacy issues, grief/loss, and spiritual struggles - things Jim knows well from personal experience.  He also has a particular heart for men in ministry, having served in pastoral, music, and campus ministry for many years before focusing on counseling.  When he’s not counseling, Jim loves spending time with his wife and children, running on woodland trails, playing music with friends, or sitting quietly enjoying nature.
