Kristy is particularly drawn to individual work with women processing struggles related to trauma, neglect, fear/anxiety, self-esteem, identity, shame, sexuality, singleness, family of origin, disordered eating, body image, faith/spirituality, any form of past or present abuse (verbal, emotional, spiritual, physical), divorce, boundaries, and life transitions.  Kristy is specifically experienced and trained in walking with individuals navigating food and body image issues and cares deeply for those navigating hard questions of faith and spiritual upheaval.

  • BA in Psychology, Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, 2007

  • MS in Clinical Child Psychology, Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, 2009

  • Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri

  • Trained in Internal Family Systems, Level I (2011)

  • Worked at an Eating Disorder Treatment Center as a crisis counselor to men and women with food and body struggles and complex trauma (2010-2011)

  • 4+ years as a counselor, leader, and teacher at a faith-based counseling center in the heart of St. Louis

  • 3+ years founding and developing a grant-funded program offering workshops and individual and group counseling for women processing food and body image issues
