Ma Counseling student
Annie was originally born in Bangkok, Thailand and spent most of her life growing up in South Florida in a culturally Buddhist family. She attended the University of Florida, where God began working in her heart, and graduated with a degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology and a focus on physical therapy. While this was a means of helping people through bodily rehabilitation, Annie realized that she wanted to help people navigate life's circumstances through relationship. This passion, along with her husband's encouragement, led her to pursue the counseling program at Covenant Seminary. Annie's areas of interests include intercultural experiences, marriage and family, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and generally creating a safe space for people to be heard and understood.
